Our goal

At Life is OK, we partner with NDIS to provide person-centric services that promote well-being, cultural awareness, and inclusivity.

What we do?

Core outreach support (home-bound or community place)

We excel in offering in-home personal care, community access support, and innovative social activities to help you connect with loved ones and engage in community events. Your NDIS core funding provides access to round-the-clock support.

Capacity building outreach supports

Our capacity-building outreach services encompass a broad array of non-clinical support, such as social skills, employment, life skills, and tenancy assistance. Additionally, we offer life transition planning, mentoring, and peer support as part of our person-centered recovery approach, all available seven days a week. Your NDIS plan may cover funding for capacity-building support in various areas, including living arrangements, social and community participation, employment, relationships, and daily living skills.

Accommodation supports

Supported Independent Living (SIL) in Palmerston and Darwin offers a secure, comfortable environment with personalized care, focusing on independence and recovery goals.

Short-Term Accommodation (STA) in Darwin provides a temporary safe haven for up to 14 days, with support for appointments, social activities, and psychosocial recovery planning.

Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA) caters to NDIS participants in transitional situations like post-hospitalization, available for up to 90 days in Darwin, assisting in moving towards permanent living solutions and supporting recovery goals.

Supports in employment

As a registered NDIS employment support provider, we offer assistance that goes beyond standard employment services and employer requirements, including personal care and transport support. We also focus on building relationships with mainstream providers and the local community to better understand the employment needs of people with disabilities. Funding for employment support is typically found in the Core budget under Assistance with Social Economic and Community Participation. The NDIS also covers capacity-building employment supports like assessments, workplace assistance, and school leaver employment supports (SLES).
